Christmas fair at Theale, Reading, brings reindeer
14 December 2011
Goodman, which owns, develops and manages Arlington Business Park, Reading delivered a day of winter wonderland and festive cheer at the Park’s first ever Christmas fair.
Over 20 stalls offered a wide variety of yuletide gifts from local craftsmen and businesses from toiletries to toys, bags, accessories and jewellery as well as luxury hampers, homemade preserves and lots more culinary treats.
The real starts of the festive show proved to be the reindeer, who obviously took time off from their hectic Christmas preparations to delight office workers at the park.
Around 200 people attended the event, representing occupiers such as KPMG, Pepsico, Wrigley’s and Acision.
Geraldine Treder, who works for KPMG, said: “It was a great gesture by Goodman to get everyone in the mood for the festive season. I was able to get some Christmas shopping done, and the reindeers were delightful!”
Richard Potter, Property Services Director at Goodman, said: “At Goodman we pride ourselves on creating the right environment for our customers and what better way to start the Festive season with this fantastic event. We received a tremendous response from our customers, who were able to spend their lunch hour browsing and buying Christmas goodies from local companies based in the area
